For many employer-specific LMIA-exempt permits, employers submit an offer of employment through IRCC's Employer Portal before the worker applies. This produces an offer number for the application.
What to prepare
Check the correct exemption and organization details, prepare accurate wage, duties and work-location information, and review whether a compliance fee or exemption applies.

An incorrect offer can cause application difficulties. Do not treat portal submission as permission for the worker to start working.
