The current picture
Canada's special temporary resident visa intake for extended family members affected by the Gaza crisis filled its available spaces and closed to new applications. Other temporary measures may still apply to eligible Palestinians already in Canada or arriving under specified conditions; they are not a general new family-sponsorship program.
Which option fits your circumstances?
Temporary status measures
Eligible Palestinians in Canada may be able to seek certain fee-exempt extensions or permits under current policies. The eligibility conditions and deadlines are narrow and should be checked directly with IRCC.
Ordinary family and refugee routes
Spouses, partners and dependent children may qualify under regular family sponsorship. Refugee resettlement has separate eligibility, referral and sponsorship processes.
