Canada does not list an open Somalia-specific special immigration measure. Somali applicants may still qualify for Canada's standard family, refugee, economic and temporary residence pathways. Eligibility is determined by the program, not nationality alone.
A person outside Canada who meets refugee criteria may be considered through a UNHCR or other referral, or eligible private sponsorship channels. The blended visa office-referred option matches approved refugee cases with sponsors.
Spouses, partners and dependent children of eligible Canadian sponsors may use regular family sponsorship. Some other relatives qualify only in narrow circumstances.
Ordinary work permits and study permits may be available to qualifying applicants with the required offer, admission and financial evidence.
There is no verified free Somalia-only sponsorship or automatic scholarship. Be wary of anyone offering a guaranteed refugee place for a fee.
